A message from Pro Wrestling Syndicate (PWS) proprietor Eric Tapout

"This was arguably the best PWS show in 3 years in terms of in ring action and the level of intensity displayed by all the in ring participants, and I unbiasly encourage fans of good indy wrestling to check out the dvd when it becomes available. I know some of these guys might just be names on paper to some fans, however legit everyone on this show brought it hard. The attendance wasn't great, estimated at 75, however the position I was put in was that this event was originally to take place in MA where we probably would have drawn significantly better. When the MA thing fell apart as the result of a lot of false promises, I decided to honor the date I gave to my locker room as opposed to just scrapping the show like the average promoter would have done. The venue in CT was only available on Sunday Aug 22, the day after the originally scheduled event was to take place in MA. For a Sunday, in a state we've never run in before, with little time to promote, and not resorting to using local talent as ticket sellers, we really were being realistic in not expecting a packed house. What I can say though is that the people that attended the show got their $20 worth of wrestling action. All advertised talent was present, and all fans in attendance also received a free autographed 8x10 photo of either Kamala or Hacksaw Jim Duggan. Kevin Matthews was originally booked for this event and hours after informing PWS late last week that he would be undergoing surgery, we promptly let his status be known. We all wish Kevin a speedy recovery."
