Welcome to Snapmare. This is where we open the joint in grand fashion. It's something that I've wanted to do for a long time, but was just never sure on how to get it together. Well, it's "got" together finally. Who knows how long it will last, but the site is paid up for one year, so let's see how far we can take it. In the coming days, I hope to add staff members and new columns, so hopefully we'll be able to keep this thing going...for a few months anyway!
QUESTION: What is a SNAPMARE?
ANSWER: Besides being a really cool wrestling maneuver, Snapmare is an outlet for people who follow Professional Wrestling on the independent level. Snapmare is a web site that will feature articles, columns, and interviews, presented in the same fashion as the old Westin wrestling magazine family. We will do our best to depict pro wrestling at it's finest, yet it's cheesiest. One thing Snapmare isn't, nor should be conceived as, is a news site. That's what sites like the DOI are for. Updated daily and chocked full of news and reviews. There's no need for another site like that, as it's already covered. Go to the DOI for wrestling news, come to Snapmare for a little fun. As of now, the site will be updated whenever. By whenever, that hopefully will mean, check in once a week or so. We go to a lot of independent wrestling shows, and hope to have features and pictures up soon after they kick everyone out of the building and take the ring down.
QUESTION: What promotions will you cover?
ANSWER: Which ever promotions that will let us behind the proverbial dressing room door for a story! Some promotions are a little hesitant to let us in. That's understandable. There are some that have eagerly thrown out the welcome mat and invited us in. We're going to cover whatever we can. In the future we hope to establish connections throughout the United States and beyond to feature independent wrestling at it's finest. QUESTION; What giveaways!?!!
ANSWER: In order to get snapmare.com off the ground, we needed a few things. First and foremost, we needed a budget. Through some hard work, and financial backing, we were able to scrape up a few pennies and put the ball into motion. First there was office leasing, food costs, and a new wardrobe. Then there was image hosting and domain listings, and actual web site things to take into consideration. And thankfully, we over estimated the costs! That left us with a few sheckles to actually get down to the meat and potatoes (or whatever dopey analogy that comes to mind), and that's bribing you into liking us!! And we'll do that by giving away...

In the featured articles, there's a story on Rain and Angel Orsini.
