#1 WSU Spirit Championship Contenders Match
Roxxie Cotton vs Amber

This match pitted a WSU main stay and former tag team champion, Roxxie Cotton against the unproven newcomer, Amber. This match stemmed from the WSU Spirit Championship tournament show in which Cotton and Amber wrestled to a 10 minute time limit draw so these two had a recent past with each other. Roxxie Cotton has improved by leaps and bounds and I'm a huge fan of her character and while Amber still looks to have potential I thought the odds were against her. As with their first match it was closely contested and the finish was surprising to me. The future of WSU was in this match.

Annie Social vs Amber O'Neal

Similar to the opening match, this featured another WSU regular (Social) against a debuting North Carolinian wrestler (O'Neal). For reasons unknown or maybe just to incite Annie Social, Amber O'Neal felt the need to send a message and beatdown Social's old tag team Beat Down Betties partner, Roxxie Cotton. The crowd was clearly behind Social and against the stuck up blonde snob. Just like Cotton, Social has come a long way in her WSU travels but ran into a much more experienced wrestler. A solid bout for both combatants and I expect O'Neal to come back to WSU to improve and further her agenda.

Jessicka Havok & Hailey Hatred vs Ariel & Cindy Rogers

The dastardly Ohio natives, Havok & Hatred rolled back into WSU looking for a challenge and the north east standout Cindy Rogers answered the call and long time friend, Ariel, was in tow. Havok & Hatred to me are the best natural women's tag team going today on the indy scene and they have made major strides in WSU in a very short time. While Rogers & Ariel have the experience edge when it comes to singles that doesn't mean much when it comes to being in a regular tag team. Havok & Hatred are after those tag belts and they're not gonna stop until they get them. This is a team to watch.

Lea Morrison vs Kylie Pierce

Kylie Pierce, the mentor to the younger Lea Morrison felt disrespected when Morrison took her spot in the Spirit Championship tournament and as always there is only one way to settle differences and that's in the ring. Lea Morrison may have been in over her head in this match but I can see her being ready for Ms. Pierce next time.

WSU Spirit Championship Match
Uncensored Rules
(c) Latasha vs Jana

These two ladies have had a heated rivalry since the start of 2009 and it has raged on ever since. The two former Soul Sisters took a page out of the book from Kong vs. Lee and took this match everywhere imaginable. While Jana might be blinded by hate, Latasha has her eyes on the prize. It wasn't Latasha that caused the split and on this night gained a nice small measure of revenge.

WSU Tag Team Title Match
(c) Alicia & Brooke Carter vs Rain & Angel Orsini

Crowd favorites, Alicia & Carter, were defending some WSU gold against two of the most hated WSU superstars and they did everything possible to unseat the tag champs. Rain & Orsini had the champs on their heels but a rash decision was a costly one and Rain couldn't have been more upset at Orsini and vice versa. Something to keep your eyes on.

WSU World Title Match
(c) Mercedes Martinez vs Nikki Roxx

Nikki Roxx, a former WSU champ, challenged the reigning and defending WSU World Women's Champion, Mercedes Martinez, Without question these are two of the top female wrestlers on the planet right now and it totally showed in this match, just an excellent main event. A certain company in Orlando missed the boat with Nikki Roxx, just my opinion. The sportsmanship at the end of the bout was spoiled by Orsini and Rain and setup Rain & Orsini vs. Martinez & Roxx for the October tapings, surely another must see WSU main event.
